John's Belts and our Partners
John's Belts is a fundraising and educational initiative to provided belts to those re-entering society after incarceration and youth impacted by poverty. John's Belts are quality full grain-leather belts provided by Michael's Fine Clothes for Men in Kansas City, MO. Our distribution partners are The Village Initiative and Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS. Currently, all donations are being matched by 200% by Cupertino Electric in Des Moines, IA.

John's Belts
John's Belts was created by Justice for Wyandotte on behalf of the Anderton in memory of their brother, John Anderton. John Anderton was killed by police on February 8, 2023. This donation project was created to educate the community about Kansas City, KS use of force policy and provide a critical clothing item that restores dignity and increases safety to those in need.
